July 2/04 - Skeletor
20 weeks….
Well, you have 2 hands, 2 legs, 2 feet, a body, a heart, a stomach, and head with 2 eyes, a nose, and a mouth socket. I did not realize that this scan would only show your skeleton and organs. I got a little freaked out when I saw the Skeletor inside my belly! Where was your actual face???? When the camera moved to the side of my tummy, you turned your head and looked right into it. Agghhhhh!!! Skeletor!!! I was really taken aback by that, actually it really freaked me out, which is when the technician explained things to me and I relaxed,….a little…. Really hard not to worry about what was actually inside me!
Anyway, when you looked right into the camera, Daddy said it felt like you knew we were looking at you. I got to see your body move. The feet were gently swaying, almost massaging my inner belly. Now that I see that, I realize I’m feeling those gentle foot movements. You looked so calm, so relaxed and so peaceful. I hope its because that’s what you are, and not because anything is wrong.
