The peace that passes understanding is a peace that transcends any idea in your head.  This kind of peace bypasses the head.  It can’t be arrived by figuring anything out.  It is beyond that.  Yes, there is a time for figuring things out…but sometimes too many thoughts, fueled by even more thoughts, is like throwing gasoline on a raging fire.  That peace is arrived at when thoughts cease…and one is still in their mind.  It’s the peace that exists within despair, in the lows, in the chaos, and crushing pressures of life, as well as in the more joyful moments.
